World-class Action Pictures to See this Weekend
The Dark Knight, which is part of Christopher Nolan’s Batman moving picture series is follow-up to the action-hit Batman Begins (2005). Christian Bale reprises the persona of the caped crusader – Batman in this action movie.The film stresses on Batman’s battle against a new villain, a mad criminal called Joker (Heath Ledger), who is the brain of many another organized criminal offenses in Gotham City.
Rambo (2008) is the fourth installment of the popular franchise of the identical title leading Sylvester Stallone as Vietnam War veteran John Rambo. After 20 years since the final film of the famed action film series, Vietnam war veteran John Rambo has withdrawn to northern Thailand, and become a boatman at Salween River in Myanmar. He accompanied a group of mercenaries for a resue mission to help the people of a damaged village. The mission begins well until the Burmese ground forces attacks the settlement, killing unknowing villagers and some fellow members of missioners. When the missioners fail to come back after ten days, their pastor comes to Rambo, tells him what has transpired, and asks for his assistance in guiding hired mercenaries to the hamlet to rescue other survivors who had been snatched by the Burmese. Despite the fact that he already committed off all courses of violence, he had no choice but to assist the abducted mercenaries from the foes. He knows what he must do and this is his most risky mission to yet.
Aliens (1986) is a sequel of the action/sci-fi/horror motion-picture show extraterrestrial being (1979 – directed by Ridley Scott). The picture show is set 57 years afterwards Ellen Ripley’s trial by ordeal with the deadly extraterrestrial being animate being. With the combat-oriented structure of the flick, Aliens promoted the tagline: “This Time It’s War.” After more than 50 years later the consequences of ‘alien’, Ellen Ripley, the sole survivor of a salvaged outer space merchant ship Nostromo, was seen and rescued at LV-426, a minor planet where they encountered the alien eggs. Then a unit of space marines together with Ripley were set to a mission to investigate LV-426’s activities and to search for their contact. As they returned to the planetoid, they discovered a large extraterrestrial being nest and they’re unprepared as they found a mature extraterrestrial being, killing most members of the unit. The remaining survivors including Ellen were trapped in the extraterrestrial being infested district, giving them with no other option but to conflict the alien queen in order to survive.
